Infertility and Natual Progesterone
Submitted by Sherree on Tue, 10/21/2008 - 17:13.As women, most of us expect that when the time is right and we are ready to have a child, we will simply stop taking birth control, and we will get pregnant. The sad reality is that infertility is more and more common and affects more women than ever before. In fact, the latest statistics show that in the US, there were 6.2 million women with impaired ability to conceive in 2007. That number represents a lot of heartbreak, frustration, depression and millions of dollars spent in attempting to conceive. Statistics show that the success rate from fertility clinics is anywhere from 11% to 37%, depending on the age of the woman and other specifics. That leaves a great many women still longing for a child of their own.
Fortunately, there are many alternatives available to women that improve her chances of getting pregnant and avoiding miscarriage, other than costly medical procedures. Infertility most often occurs due to a woman's lack of ovulation. In addition, blocked fallopian tubes due to pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis, or surgery for an ectopic pregnancy, physical problems with the uterus and uterine fibroids are also to blame in many cases.
Every Woman's Body
Submitted by Sherree on Tue, 09/16/2008 - 00:10.Sometimes I get so focused on the use of natural progesterone creams to relieve symptoms, and provide alternative treatment for a variety of conditions, that I don't talk about why every woman benefits from this incredible cream.
Our bodies are designed to heal themselves. They already know how to mobilize an amazing arsenal of tools to protect, heal, renew and re-create themselves. In a perfect world, we would not need supplements, like vitamins and minerals, because we would get everything we need from the earth and the foods we eat. We would not suffer the affects of pollution on every front, nor would we find an array of everything from prescription drugs to lead in our drinking water.
Unfortunately, we do not live in a perfect world. Our soils are depleted, our skies contain many types of pollutions, and even the containers we drink from, and toys our children play with, contain toxins. In addition, we live in an increasingly stressful, fast-paced society, and operating on adrenaline and cortisol has become a way of life for many people. Put all these factors together, and even those who focus on living a healthy lifestyle are not exempt from the negative affect these environmental factors have on our bodies.

Re-formulation of Product
Submitted by Sherree on Thu, 09/04/2008 - 23:02.Just in case you missed it, the natural progesterone balancing creams are being reformulated to remove parbens. This is being done, in part, in response to rising concerns that extensive use of parabens may increase cancer risk as well as mimic estrogen in the body, which leads to a variety of conditions. Europe has banned the use of parabens some time ago, but, as is often the case, the US is slower to respond. After watchdog organizations began to publically question the safety of such widespread usage, some companies who focus on using natural alternatives, have become pro-active in removing them where possible and phasing them out slowly. Our product falls under that category. For info about what you can do, in the meantime, to assist your body in balancing its hormones, see the Articles Page for "FAQ for Re-Formulation" and under Press Releases.
Synthetic Hormones to Treat GYN Problems?
Submitted by Sherree on Sat, 08/16/2008 - 02:17.Has your physician prescribed estrogen or progestin pills (birth control) or patches to treat your menstrual problems, such as endometriosis, dysmenorrhea, (severe pain or cramps in the lower abdomen during menstruation), excess bleeding, etc? If he/she has, are you finding that your symptoms are getting worse instead of better, or that you've developed new troubling symptoms? If so, or if you're concerned about using synthetic hormones, you may need to check out the benefits of using a natural hormone balance cream.
There is a very good chance that your body has more estrogen than it needs and what you really need is a different hormone, natural progesterone (not to be confused with pharmaceutical progestins which can make symptoms such as abnormal bleeding worse). According to many studies, natural progesterone can effectively reduce the symptoms of hormonal imbalances, and the conditions that it causes, by restoring the body's natural hormone balance. Millions of women who are showing signs of estrogen dominance may see great result by simply applying natural progesterone cream onto their skin daily.
The use of natural progesterone and its succes is based on extensive medical research. Progesterone is a natural substance and natural substances cannot be patented and marketed for profit, which makes pharmaceutical companies uninterested in marketing and promoting them. And if pharmaceutical reps don't market a product to physicians, many physicians will simply be unaware of its existence. It may be time for you to become proactive and find out more.

Say Good-bye to Stress
Submitted by Sherree on Thu, 08/14/2008 - 21:56.Ever wonder why you feel so bad when you’re stressed? Here’s why. When stressed, your body quickly responds by increasing the stress hormones—adrenaline and cortisol. Progesterone levels fall as it is continuously used to make more cortisol. Blood flow decreases to kidneys, gastrointestinal tract, and skin causing everything from toxin buildup and IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) to accelerated aging of the cells. While progesterone levels and blood flow fall, blood sugar, cholesterol, fatty acids, heart rate and blood pressure rise. In addition, the immunity system is suppressed. No wonder you don’t feel so good! If these physical stress-responses are not used for either “fight or flight”, they become residue (leftovers), blocking the normal function of our bodies.
What causes stress?
In order to prevent stress you need to identify the cause of the stress. Sometimes you know exactly what is causing your stress--a deadline at work, a pile of unpaid bills, or a relationship that’s not working out. Sometimes it’s more difficult to find the source of your problem.
What often happens is that many relatively mild stressors occur at the same time. These can bring on the same stress as a larger problem.
Some people experience stress from events that occurred in the past (post-traumatic stress disorder).
See any of these stressors in your life?
Change of any kind
Emotional insecurities
Pressures (self-induced and external)
Quantitative (too much) work
Qualitative (too hard) work
Conflicts (work, social, family)

Got Stress?
Submitted by Sherree on Wed, 08/13/2008 - 00:51.Stress. It’s a part of life, and it's not going away. We can't get rid of all stress, nor should we. There is positive stress—like excitement when receiving good news, or energy that pushes us to perform well—and there is negative stress. When we learn to harness the power of positive stress and manage the effects of negative stress, our overall health and well-being will improve in amazing ways.
There are four basic types of stress:
Eustress, a positive stress, is a natural physical reaction that increases blood flow to your muscles and results in a higher heart rate. For example, an athlete getting ready to compete in an event would experience eustress, which would assist her in performing at her highest level.
Distress, we know, is a negative form of stress. There are two types of distress—acute and chronic. Acute stress occurs in a crisis and is short-term. Chronic stress goes on and on and on, becoming a way of life for many people. Chronic stress can contribute to many diseases of the body.
Hyperstress, is also a negative stress. This type of stress happens when you can't t cope with the on-going pressures and demands of your life. An example would be a highly stressful job with long working hours or caring for an ill parent or child. One sign that you're experiencing this type of stress is sudden emotional breakdowns that seem to happen over something small—it's that one final thing that was just too much. This type of stress can lead to serious physical and emotional problems when not managed properly.

We Need to Know
Submitted by Sherree on Thu, 07/31/2008 - 23:08.Throughout the last 2 1/2 years of study and research, spent pouring through endless medical journals and studies, reading papers by leading physicians, and searching the internet for answers, I have found one common theme about the use of bio-identical progesterone and estrogen. That is, most women know next to nothing about it!
I've always thought of myself as fairly educated--certainly in the area of hormones--since they can, and have caused such times of suffering in my life. But I had never been told or seen advertised (or even heard about from Oprah (!), the alternative treatments available to me, other than syntetic hormones.
There are, and have been for many years, studies and information showing a tremendous amount of success in treating hormone imbalance with the natural progesterone found in botanicals--in particular soy. Natural estrogen can be obtained from botanicals such as Black Cohosh,
Chaste Tree Berries, Dong Quai, Evening Primrose Oil, Red Clover, Alfalfa, Licorice, and Ginseng. I could not understand why--with such a safe, natural option available, without all the side effects and risks associated with synthetic hormones--it was not in the media.

My Mission - Every Woman Should Know
Submitted by Sherree on Wed, 07/23/2008 - 05:46.I began with a desire to save lives...literally. After going through the painful loss of two of my best friends--women in their forties--to breast cancer, and watching a favorite Aunt struggle to fight this disease, I began to look for answers. Little did I know that the common problem in this, and many other difficult issues women face
may be a hormonal imbalance.
